In my six years on LJ she has grown from a little girl to a young woman. Brenna turned 16 a couple weeks ago. She has some challenges to face this year, but with her sense of humour intact and a boyfriend who is gentle, kind, and a listener (they have been dating 18 months, and what more could I expect from a 17-year-old who has won her affection?), I have high hopes for her.

The three most important people in my life have their birthdays within a month, and with Christmas approaching I am busily knitting. Not much time for writing. Marian turns 18 this month.

I did take time to post a tribute to Brenna on The Yarn, and another one to Danny (his birthday was Sunday). This is the hat I made for Bren using two contrasting colourways of Noro Silk Garden and a free pattern based on entrelac, from Twist Collective.

I can see that you take nice photos and add them to your blog for others to see. I started a website called Theme hunt (www.themehunt.ca).P.S, this is not a virus. My name is Annika Gofton and I live in Guelph. Every week there will be a different theme word. Then you can make a separate entry to your blog: „Themehunt – dogs“ (this weeks theme is dogs). And then you can copy your entrys URL to my site. That is how other people can see what photos did you find and people can comment.They have to be taken by you.
