vaneramosThe score and a MIDI file of "Starlight" arrived by email from Mark Sirett this afternoon. I don't have a keyboard here and can't easily sight read by voice, but while listening to the audio and following the score, I recited the words to Danny. When it got to the part about "two pinpoint fires singing across time and space", it was so lovely I started to weep. Mark—a complete stranger, really—has embraced the spirit of the words. His interpretation is ethereal, but also simple and matter-of-fact. It is well suited to the Rainbow Chorus. I can hardly wait to hear it sung.
