After returning to Guelph last night, we're back in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The manse where we are staying was used in filming The Dead Zone. A gazebo David Cronenberg built for the film is visible from the back porch. Now I have to see the movie.
The vicar's leonine charisma is matched by his chiseled face and luxurious mane of salt-and-pepper hair. His wife is outrageous and, as we discovered tonight, also an excellent cook. She served roast chicken and roasted beet salad with walnuts and goat cheese, and had looked up a recipe for gluten-free brownies especially for me. They also stocked Strongbow Cider.
I had forgotten how quickly time passes when we're working on site.
