Shawl

For my first home weaving project I took inspiration from the course instructor. He had made a shawl in which the solid-colour warp was interspersed with random fancy yarns. At the end of the week, he gave me instructions for a similar project. djjo gave me some Briggs and Little single-ply yarn to use for the background, and I'll add leftover yarns from other projects I've done. This evening I planned the project, calculating how much yarn I need and so on. Next step is to make the warp; I plan to do that on Wednesday or Thursday after work.
