2010 was a year of challenges, mostly positive. I resumed a daily writing practice, refinanced my debt, tried a new secondary romantic relationship but it didn't work out, participated with the Rainbow Chorus in perfoming "Starlight" by Mark Sirett with lyrics written by me, reduced my dosage of anti-depressant medication, took a memorable road trip to Winnipeg with Danny to attend a choral festival, developed an important friendship with Lori, experienced some disappointing drift in my relationship with Dad, acquired a loom and learned to weave, and began freelance writing web content. Emotionally I've had some hard times, especially the fallout from the breakup in June, and a six-week period of insomnia after the shift to Standard Time in November. Still I made some progress and my optimism for the future has increased. I haven't needed the light box so far this winter.

2011 promises some exciting changes. Happy New Year, everyone.

It looks as if the balance points in the direction of 2010 having been mostly a good year for you. I'm sure 2011 will be better. That's what I wish, with all my heart.
