Stress management

Today for the first time since the beginning of this time off I felt genuinely relaxed. I did not get sad about the vacation being too short, worry about going back to work, fret about about all the constructive things I should be doing, or feel ashamed about playing computer games for two hours this morning. This afternoon I went for a nice long walk around the neighbourhood and made an entry in the winter journal.

I have no idea whether I had such a good day despite, or because of, the fact a cough prevented me from sleeping more than 4½ hours last night.

I have used two friends-filtered LiveJournal posts to write out some perceived causes of stress and what to do about them. Any Facebook friends interested in reading or offering feedback, just ask and we can discuss it privately.
