Dream

I dreamt I met queenmomcat and stephe. We were sitting around a table somewhere outside with lots of trees. stephe's hair was buzzed short. We had only a few minutes to visit because they had to go home so their cat could take a shower. stephe was nonplussed. He said he had been living alone for a long time (apparently this was their first pet). He was not used to people needing to take showers every day.

I imagined their cat standing in a shower stall on its hind legs. It stood about four feet tall and was brick-red shaggy calico. It looked more like a fox furry (a person dressed in a costume) than a real animal.

queenmomcat and I began to talk about introversion.

It has been unusual for me to remember any dreams. It happened because I needed my alarm to get up early this morning. In a few minutes I have to go get an upper G.I. study done. I've had some trouble with indigestion and the hiatal hernia seems to be acting up, including a couple painful incidents of dysphagia. This is the first time they've given much trouble since I went gluten-free three years ago. Too much rich food over the holidays, I guess.

Love the surreal dreamscape. I doubt our cat would want to take a shower, but I can see the three of us meeting in a place with lots of trees.
