I have composed my first effort at interactive fiction at Playfic: Odd items in an office. You move through the story by typing commands beside the cursor to x (examine), take or open furniture and objects, or typing n, s, e or w to move in a direction.

How do you score points?

I think I would have to put something in the code for that but I don't know how to do it yet. Actually I haven't found any games on the site that award points, so maybe it is hard to do. I'm finding this pretty addictive. I downloaded free software so I can make these things on my computer, and it's more versatile than the integrated software at Playfic.

Actually it isn't hard to set up. Maybe I'll do that in another one.
