My first freelance assignment in many years appears in the fall issue of Edible Toronto, now published. Here is my story about vine-fed lamb online. The print version is a free magazine. The editor liked working with me and wants to meet for coffee. Now I need more assignments.

The valley where I live is big on "biodynamic" winemaking because there has never been conventional agriculture here. If you've ever had Bonterra wines, this is where they come from. The whole thing is a little too full of woo for my taste, but they do use sheep in exactly this manner in the vineyards. It's all extremely picturesque and adds a lot to the landscape.

Picturesque indeed, and an amusing story to write! I haven't had Bonterra, but I see it's available from LCBO here in Ontario, so I'll give it a try.
