[Dream] Inventing characters

I seem to be dreaming a lot about names lately. The identities of important characters frequently appear in handwritten or painted text, like credits in a movie, contradicting the film Waking Life's assertion that we are unable to read in dream life. This morning I woke from a brief dream that was only a name written in block capitals: AITAN PAISHAWAL. A google search suggests it is plausible. Aitan is a variant of Ethan.

That's interesting, Vern. I know some people cannot read in dreams. I wonder what makes the difference. I wondered whether it is because I spend a large proportion of time communicating by written word.
