vaneramos | Wondering about Flickr apps

What is the best application for managing Flickr photos? For years I've been using Picasa to process and organize photos on my laptop, and Flickr Uploadr to upload them. Now that I'm setting up on a new laptop it seems a reasonable opportunity to consider whether there are any new applications that have streamlined the process. I found an app called photoSync that automatically synchronizes all your Flickr photos, sets and collections with a folder on your computer, which seems pretty cool. Has anybody tried it? Another other recommendations? I'm not unhappy with Uploadr, but just wonder whether anything newer and better has slipped under my radar.
