Haha! I was attracted to the texture of the grasses in the first image, but at the moment I took the photo, it became a "We were here" memory. After that, I wanted to create a history of our summer experiences by photographing where my daughter's feet had been. Of course, being 11 she got exasperated with this project, and yet indulged me.

Of course I am 5'9", and most of these images were shot from a squat position.
