August words

My August instalment at 100words.com can now be viewed. For those who aren't familiar, you have to write 100 words, no more, no less, every day for a month. My self-imposed theme in August turned out to be more personal and difficult than I expected, but I'm pleased with the result. As usual, I'll mail a postcard to the first person who correctly identifies the theme. One word sums it up.

Self-imposed theme. huh? Well I was always one who liked games (word and puzzle ones, less so on the head ones), so here goes.

Well the first entries embark on the wedding of your lesbian friends, drifting into your incomprehension of finding the same type of intimacy, finally seeping into your world that has now changed with Danny's introduction. I would guess the theme would be the growth of yourself in your romantic relationship and how that has affected how you see the great things of the world around you, such as your kids and friends.

Yeah probably wrong, but what the hey? :)

Well, that's what I get for not checking LJ for a few hours -- I guessed "touch" as well. But it's appropriate that Danny should get the card.
