Self-portraits
Sep. 8th, 2003 10:45 pmI have wanted to take a tripod and do this ever since I got my camera, almost two years now. This summer won't offer many more days as nice as this one. The sites are all within a 20 minute walk of my apartment.

I was thinking about you and your dream when I wrote chapter 2 today.

Date: 2003-09-10 07:53 am (UTC)Read chapter two last night before my involuntary (passing out) bedtime -- and wow. Thing that struck me most is how you really seemed to get into the head of a 12-year-old girl. Of course parenthood probably doesn't hurt. ;)
So is Nettles Lark's screen name or something, and that's how they're connected?

Wow, thank you. I'm afraid it was done lightly (as all of this writing is being done), without much careful consideration. But I tried to use some intuition. Tendril has more gumption than I did as a pre-teen. I suppose I have some idea how my daughters must think in order to behave the way they do. She is not entirely like either of my daughters, though.
