With apologies
Sep. 12th, 2003 11:04 amMy friends list has been getting longer as I find new journals I want to read. Today I decided to remove a few from my list that I was not interacting with and not reading. I mention it here, because I know how unpleasant it can feel to be dropped rudely or without explanation. Please don't take it personally because it isn't. I'm just trying to make my time involvement with LJ manageable. Please feel free to drop me or continue reading, as you wish.
I also re-added one person who is interesting but who I dropped some weeks ago for a wrong reason.

Date: 2003-09-12 02:22 pm (UTC)Bill took some lovely photos of me with my friend Claude. He's the bearded hottie; I'm the geek.
Bill mentioned that you might come out to visit the Farm in October. Would be lovely to have you join us then.

Amber Fox for Thanksgiving is my hope and plan. There is a slight chance I won't be able to make it, but chances are more on the positive side. I look forward to meeting you in person.

Date: 2003-09-12 03:47 pm (UTC)Oh yeah, that part! It will be an adventure for me. I have occasionally tried some vegetarian recipes, but mostly I am a meatoholic. What are the symptoms of withdrawal? I'm sure I'll be fine. I can stop eating meat anytime I want to. ;-)
My daughters live in Lindsay, which is three hours from here, so I don't see them much through the school year. Thanksgiving and Christmas get alternated. This year their mother has them for Thanksgiving weekend and I have them for Christmas Day. Our next visit will depend on when they have a P.D. day long weekend, which I don't know yet.
Tonight the local gay and lesbian choir, which I sing in, is having its monthly fundraising dance. We haven't had one since May, so I'm looking forward to reconnecting with my friends. It's a nice crowd, mostly 30s and up, equal parts men and women, and Guelph/KitWloo GLBTs are kinda granola.
Tomorrow is the choir's annual general meeting. Politics politics. Outgoing board chair, highly competent, hopefully to be replaced by someone nearly as good.
