Well, I love looking through your window just as much as Bill's this morning. I had a groggy start today so if there were gorgeous skies I missed 'em.

Did have a lovely time watching the sunset last night over the river while people in various craft rowed up and down, some in crews, some just for fun. Had a lovely blond youth for company. We talked about travel in Asia, polyamory, the quest for a spiritual path, and many other things while the twilight waned into deepening purple.

I had a groggy morning, too, but drove myself out the door anyway, and the sky gave me this poetry:

That evening sounds delightful. I rarely take time to enjoy sunsets here. Although my hall window offers a fine westward view over the city, the hall is shared with my upstairs neighbours and not a pleasant place to hang out.

Evenings at the cottage in summertime are another story. I simply sit on the dock and watch. An hour on either side of sunset is my favourite time of day.
