These pictures were taken yesterday afternoon in my friends' garden in Kitchener. It takes excellent design sense, a fair knowledge of plants and sweaty dedication to keep an Ontario garden looking this good at the end of September.
Yours is more magickal, and slightly more to my taste. Actually I just miss getting photographed there, by you. I miss everyone. I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving.
Seeing it yesterday, I was amazed. When I first met Mark and Bob in May 2001, they had not been living long in the house, and the back yard had hardly any garden at all.
