Brian and Kent

My friends from Maryland dropped by for a visit on Friday. Brian, the cutie in front, is originally from Ontario. Kent sings in a GALA chorus. I met them at the GALA festival in Toronto in June 2002. We got along so well that my at-the-time boyfriend and I arranged to spend part of Toronto Pride with them the following weekend. They look great in leather, and they also square dance.

This week they were squeezing in visits with Brian's relatives, and I helped them find a birthday gift for his two-year-old nephew.

Kent is American. They met in about 1996, and I think Brian moved down to live with him in fairly short order.

jwg and I know Brian and Kent -- well, we know Brian (although we haven't seen or heard from him in a couple of years), and we've met Kent once or twice. We actually first met Brian at that very motss.con, which leads to the conclusion that we probably met bitterlawngnome there too.

I fell seriously in lust with Brian on first meeting. I gather this is a not uncommon reaction.

I don't think we've ever actually met, unless it was in Cambridge, perhaps via Steve Dyer. I spent most of that motss.con with the bears, off-site .... urso and I met at that con, and there was immediate extreme chemistry.

We spent part of one evening with the bear crowd, probably lured in by Steve, going from the house of someone known as "Cap'n Woof" to a bar, but the details are vague. (Gimme a break, it was 12 years ago!)
