One of the reasons I love to read your journal, Van, is that you truly strive to see the beauty in the world...and you remind me that in the smallest things, in the chancest of coincidences, there is a universe of meaning.

I try not to post anything utterly trivial. I was intrigued by the paradox of not being able to photograph that creature sitting right beside my finger, so this was kinduva poem and I'm glad you liked it. I hope I can encourage you, Steven. You strike me as a man of integrity, who deserves to be happy.
