Another reason why I know my mother is trying to slowly destroy me: she taught me certain appetities. I just surrendered to the siren call of the Kraft Dinner in my cupboard, cooking and ingesting an entire box, minus packaging, with a few celery sticks for lunch.

I hear words echoing in my head, something about carbohydrates in autumn, but can't quite remember. Now I am becoming sleepy, very sleepy.

Hehe, KD is one of the inalterable realities of my life.

Etienne used to tart it up with onions & curry powder, or with chili powder. Actually it tasted good.

I know, I know, you're asking yourself - But what have I in common with tarts?

I liked the character of Cheviot. When does he get knighted by the queen?

Ooohhh, not the Kraft Noodle Curse! one of the most potent hexes known to the history of humankind.

Last night my supper was a microwaved bowl of "spicy peanut noodles" packaged by a would-be crunchy-organic firm, Seeds of the Earth. I'm not fooled, but I turn to this sort of thing when I'm too tapped-out to cook. I have to say it cooked up very nice--one of the better ones I've had.

Your phrasing, "cooking and ingesting an entire box, minus packing," sounded delightfully bearish. MUST ... EAT ... NOODLES! grunt.

Yes, I'll go so far as to put out the invitation to any willing bears who would like to come and hibernate with me until March. ;-)

But alas, I won't be able to. Guess I'll just have to bring myself and a couple boxes of KD and keep you happy and rested for a few days at least.

A Cheesy Breath!

Sweet dreams there Van. I'll come nuzzle ya soon. Danny

Soon lovely man!

You could fool yourself like I used to, by going with "Annie's" brand carbo/autumn depression fixer-uppers instead of Kraft. If they have an "organic" line of products it's okay, right? :) I used to love the "mild Mexican" shells and cheddar.

I liked Annie's for a long time, too! Especially the single-serve microwaveable packs. White cheddar was my favorite. For some reason I burned out on them, though. Probably overdid it.

I definitely overdid it. Food addictions are the worst. Wish I could overdo it on potato chips and so put them behind me. :)

I'm hopelessly imprinted on Kraft Dinner Original, but I'll have to try these if I see them. I wonder if they're available in Canada. Don't look familiar.
