This works well in my two-cup coffee Bodum. I add half a cinnamon stick, a couple green cardamon pods, several allspice berries and some whole cloves to the empty carafe along with fresh coffee grounds, fill it with boiling water and stir.

I always forget to leave room for enough cream. ;-)

OK...I LOVE that picture.

I love photographic evidence of the everyday framed as art. I had a friend who had several black-and-white photos of everyday objects (purse, doorknob, ashtray) hanging on the wall of his living room. I was fascinated and thought it a cool idea...until he pointed out each of the objects looked like a human face. *sigh*

Strange how it lost its magic for me there...it's like it became...hmm...cute-sy.

Of course, I don't mean to spoil it for you, but one can imagine all kinds of things in the creamy spilt coffee.

P.S. Stephen, I realized you might like to see the larger image. I only posted the little one because it's an old photo, I just thought it went nicely with my recipe.

Larger creamy spill

Van,

Thank you so much! I did, indeed, like the larger image...I dunno why. There's so much character in such banality...

Perhaps it's because it allows me to imagine backstories behind the objects themselves. Perhaps, instead, it's the opposite...that the objects are wonderfully devoid of any meaning and therefore are allowed to be viewed for themselves...

Who can tell? *grins* I just like 'em. Thanks. :)

I love licking up spilt cream. especially when a furry chest is involved (thinking of your earlier post).

The sound of your coffee's flavor would be interesting since I don't drink it flavored. However, the picture didn't look like coffee because I always drink my coffee strong (like my men).

I like my coffee strong and creamy, no sugar. I prefer my men sweet and strong.
