I still remember a very bad sunburn I received when I was living on a ranch near Wendover, Nv. (north east corner of Nevada bordering Utah). It was about this time of year and I was so happy to feel 50 degree weather that I took off my shirt and sat on the porch loving the warmth after a cold winter. I think it took about 15 minutes to burn!
One of my weaknesses is I'm a sun worshipper. I love the feel of sun on my skin and like the way I tan. I know it's not healthy, but it's a temptation I can never resist. I usually manage to expose myself slowly enough each spring so that I never get a bad burn.
