Bill and Marian

West Highland cattle in High Park

The headaches and exhaustion evaporated overnight. What was that all about? I felt like I was getting the flu, but it never came. Was it my body's response to the shifts, drives and possibilities of spring? I have had some strange days.

Early this afternoon Bill did a photo shoot with me and Marian at the new studio. Then Marian and I went exploring High Park for the first time. The sun was warm and many people were sitting comfortably on benches for the first time in months.

We stopped in the restaurant for a latté and Coke. A man with hairy, well-defined pecs sat shirtless in warm sun against the south wall of the building, talking to two friends in winter coats. I siezed every opportunity for a glance at his bare skin, first of the season. All I want is my eyes full.

Lately I've received more attention than I'm used to in the sexual-romantic spectrum. In theory I'm polyamorous, but in practice I have been satisfied with the one relationship. I don't know how to respond to the hint of other opportunities.

I can't help thinking of this: it has been two good years since anyone has really hurt me. Unprecedented.

All I want is my eyes full.

You mean that Highland wasn't enough? Gods, those beasts drive me wild with passion. So much fur. And those horns. ;-)

Marian looks delightfully goth in that photo. Most enjoyable!

I liked the horns, too. The bull turned me on metaphorically.

Headache perhaps the result of familial stress: leaving Brenna behind, having to to deal with Marian's abreaction to her mother, etc.? It might be worth considering. Most of my headaches these days are due to stress.

And I know I've said this before, but Marian is just the cutest little thing. Which you are not to tell her because I'm sure being the cutest little thing isn't very cool.

Okay, I won't tell her. ;-)

Those are interesting points about the headaches. I'm more used to migraines with visual symptoms than pain like this.

Ooh, how fabulous is the snapshot of Bill working his magic upon Marian. The Penelope Tree of her generation. *glamour*

The bottom one makes me think of the Green Man bringing in the Spring with His Sacred Horn and Hot Cock energy. yum!!!

Thanks, I saw that same symbolism with the bull.

What is the Penelope Tree?

Penelope Tree was a gorgeous, very rich Sixties model who pioneered the "elegant waif" look. She began modeling at age 13 and her first published sessions were at age 15:
