Date: 2003-08-16 04:59 pm (UTC)It's funny we would both forget the camera is part of the picture. We both like taking pictures of ourselves, but a camera has a harder time taking its own self-portrait.
I'm not especially pleased with my digital camera because it offers so little control of focus, exposure and depth of field. I liked manipulating them so much I hardly ever used the automatic features on my Canon AE-1. But I'm grateful the Kodak DX3500 gives me the chance to shoot as many pictures as I want (I can't afford film), and I'm learning how to work creatively with its limitations.
